SpectraComp® eGFP controls are precision engineered multi level fluorescent cell mimics designed to support accurate unmixing, compensation and calibration of GFP signals in multiparameter flow cytometry workflows. These controls present eGFP protein on the particle surface and provide negative, low, medium and high fluorescence populations that mimic the performance of eGFP expressing cells. Each positive population contains a defined number of eGFP molecules, generating distinct fluorescence intensity levels for reliable benchmarking and reference signal generation.
With consistent fluorescence intensity, cell-like autofluorescence and the high performance characteristics shared across all SpectraComp controls, SpectraComp eGFP delivers dependable signal resolution and reduces errors associated with spectral overlap. The kit includes four liquid dropper vials containing separate negative, low, medium and high populations, supporting flexible experimental setup and streamlined workflow integration. These controls are suitable for spectral unmixing, conventional compensation, fluorescence calibration and assessment of transfection efficiency.
SpectraComp eGFP controls require no special handling or safety precautions and has been validated on analytical flow cytometers for dependable performance in assay development and high parameter panel design.
