As of early September 2026, every product page on slingshotbio.com has a Reviews tab. If you've set up viability gating with ViaComp® or run StimCytes™ BCMA in a CAR-T assay, you can now tell other researchers how it performed and whether you'd recommend it to a colleague.

As demand for cell mimics and reagents continues to grow, we want every researcher to have as much information as possible before they buy, and the very best source of that information is you: our existing customers.

If you like us, give us 5 stars!

We've gone with a standard five-star rating so you can review each product in a minute or two. When you leave a review, you can also attach up to three images, such as a plot or the product in use, and they're submitted alongside your review for approval.

You can also attach up to two raw data files in .csv, .xlsm, or .fcs format. These go to our team only and never appear on the website, so you can privately share the flow cytometry data behind your rating and our scientists can see exactly what you saw. If you'd like us to follow up with you about your review, just let us know and we'll arrange it.

Please note: when submitting your review, leave out any confidential information and patient data.

Why we want your voice on our pages

The people using our cell mimics teach us the most about them. Some of that feedback reaches us through our application scientists and verified citations, but much of it stays in the lab. Reviews give that knowledge somewhere to live, and they create a feedback loop that tells our team exactly what's working for you and what you'd like us to develop next.

Reviews matter for the next researcher, too. Many Slingshot Bio customers are using cell mimics for the very first time, and a scientist considering SpectraComp® for their first spectral panel will want to know they're in good company before making that final decision. Your experience could be the reason someone tries one of our products for the first time!

How to leave a review

  1. Open any product page on slingshotbio.com and select the Reviews tab.
  2. Click Leave a review. The form is already tied to the exact product variant you're reviewing.
  3. Rate the product from one to five stars and write your review. Those are the only two required fields.
  4. If you'd like them shown with your review, add your name, job title, organization, and the application or assay you use the product for. That last field gives other scientists context they can act on, because a review from a lab running viability gating on a spectral cytometer answers different questions than one from a lab running compensation on a conventional instrument.
  5. Attach any images or data files, check the consent box, and submit.

What happens after you submit

A member of our team reads every review and checks every image, and nothing goes live on the site until they've approved it.

Consent checkbox and Submit review button

Some reviews carry a Verified Purchase badge. We award it only after our team has manually matched the reviewer to a real order, so when you see the badge, you know that researcher bought the product.

Your review only appears with your permission, and it shows only the name and details you chose to share. Approved reviews also feed the star ratings that can appear under our products in Google search results, so your feedback can reach researchers before they've even visited our site.

Be the first

The review system is brand new, so every product page is still waiting on its first review. If you've used a Slingshot product, that first review could be yours, and the researcher who reads it next might be deciding whether cell mimics belong in their workflow.
